Andrew DeWitt Bariatric Surgeon M.D., F.A.C.S.

Well I met Dr. Dewitt when he performed my mother & sisters surgeries. I really loved everything about this procedure. The office staff was wonderful. Dr. Dewitt let me know everything that I needed to know before and after surgery and was very professional about it all! The only problem that I had was with some of the nurses at the hospital. I am HAPPY I had the surgery most of the time, but there are times when I can't enjoy some foods that I would have rethought my decision if I had waited any longer. The GOOD times really do outweigh the bad ones!

I am 5 months into this journey and thanks to Dr. Andrew Dewitt and his staff!! Dr. Dewitt is a wonderful knowledgeable surgeon! When I went to my first seminar at Princeton, I knew right from the start, that he would be wonderful! My first visit, he came in and sat down, and talked to me!! Not over my head! Lori is a angel, who will get that letter approved! And Stephanie Dutton, wonderful wonderful!! She knows cause she has been there in our shoes!! Dr. Dewitt office staff are so friendly!! Everytime you call, they listen!! I highly recommend Dr. Dewitt and his staff and Princeton and their staff!!!!

Dr Dewitt has been AMAZING. He has the best bedside manner and you can tell that he really cares. His office staff is great too. I am so pleased with him as my surgeon! He is the nicest doctor and a wonderful surgeon. He puts you at ease and makes you feel comfortable every step of the way. He has no problem answering questions and takes time for his patients.

My wife and Sister in law used him and have had great success. He has done general surgery on me and I like his bedside manner. His staff and complete office has been great about everything.
His insurance department did EVERYTHING in the approval part of my visits. I am anxious and READY. My surgery is scheduled for January 6, 2012.

I went to Tijuana, Mexico to get a lap band done with Dr. Almanza. It wasn't working, and I actually GAINED weight. I was sent by his coordinator to another doctor in AL, close to Montgomery, where I was supposed to get a fill. The doctor that gave me that fill had tried SEVERAL times to find the port, and after a few more X-Rays, still couldn't find it.
We were told by my current physician about Dr. DeWitt. My dad took me to get a fill and it was AMAZING. Dr. DeWitt and his staff are the most friendliest people I've ever met! I felt like I was family. Dr. DeWitt numbed my stomach and found the port RIGHT AWAY. He's very professional, honest, and easy to talk to about concerns and whatever else that you need help with.
I started this journey at about 205 pounds. If it wasn't for Dr. DeWitt, I wouldn't have lost ANY weight. I am now down to 165 pounds and still losing. He is an amazing doctor, and I'm very blessed to have met him.

Almost a year ago i started this journey with Dr. Dewitt...There were questions i had and concerns, but after meeting with Dr Dewitt he answered ? and told me i would be just fine and that i was a excellent surgical candidate...I LOVE HIS BEDSIDE MANNERS & GENIUNE CONCERN, anything i had doubt about and was afraid of he took care of for me. Today im 6weeks post op and i started out at 376 now im 332!! I look forward to the journey ahead, THANK YOU DR DEWITT & STAFF :)

I've been approved by UHC after two rnappeals!! I have a DATE... 10/23/2009!!!! It's finally real!!

I had previously seen 2 other surgeons. Things didn't work out because one decided 3 months in that he didn't want to do revisions any longer. The other moved 75 miles away. Dr. Dewitt was recommended, and it turns out that we grew up 5 miles from each other, and I know his wife's family.rnrnI could't have asked for a better surgeon. Someone was looking out for me, and placed him in my path. He was always honest with me about the risks and likely outcomes. He has continued to exemplify what a quality surgeon should be.
