Bernard J. Benedetto, MD, is board certified in general surgery and performs laparoscopic gastric bypass, gastric band and sleeve gastrectomy procedures. He is a graduate of the University of Connecticut School of Medicine and completed his surgical residency at Baystate Medical Center. He completed a fellowship in minimally invasive bariatric surgery at Albany Medical Center in New York. He also has experience performing endoscopic anti-reflux surgery, colon resection, hernia repair and surgical endoscopy.
