There is not enough good things I can say about Dr. Moore and the entire team at Tidewater Surgical, they are amazing. They all work together as a fine oiled machine, you can call on any of them for whatever you need and they are there with the answer. The will help you through step by step and at no time will you feel like you are a bother. I was surprised when after surgery they seemed to all pop in one by one just to check on me and this made me realize that they weren't just in this with me for the moment, this team is going to go all the way through my journey with me. Before you chose a surgeon you must give this team a visit....they will show you what this is all about.

My first impression of Dr Moore was that he is a very caring and honest person.
The office staff at Tidewater surgical Clinic is absolutely wonderful they took the time to be polite, patient and friendly.
Future patients should know that he is the best surgeon in the Hampton Roads area.
He emphasize after care the way in which it should be simply follow his guidelines and all will be fine.
Yes there is a structure aftercare that is very simple to live by.
He addressed the risk of surgery very well and explained and answered all my question in detail.
I would rate Dr Moore with a 10/10 excellent surgeon.
Both surgical competence and bedside manner was excellent.

GREAT DOCTOR. I have never felt so good as I did in the hospital or at his office. Always a great experience. He took his time and made sure that I understood everything from the time I got the hospital to being at home. Thanks to him and his staff for everything!!

Outstanding surgeon, demonstrated a genuine concern, each one of my dr's appointments he has taken his time and made sure all my questions was answered. I never felt like he was pushing me through. The support staff is wonderful., both at the hospital and at the office. He shows up to the support group meetings and answers questions. Never having had any surgery before, I do think they could of prepared me for the recovery aspect of the surgery. Many times during the first 2-3 weeks I didn't know if what I was feeling was normal or not.

HE SEEMED TO REALLY CARE AND DIDNT TREAT ME AS IF IT IS ALL MY FAULT THAT I CANT KEEP THE WEIGHT OFF. HE ACTUALLY SAT AND LISTENED TO WHAT I HAD TO SAY AND EXPLAINED EVERYTHING IN DETAIL. THE ENTIRE PROGRAM AND EDUCATION YOU HAVE TO GO THROUGH PRIOR IS PHENOMINAL. EVERYONE IS SO FRIENDLY IN HIS OFFICE. SO FAR I WOULD RATE HIM AS A \"10\".

Dr, Moore was awesome from day one. He hosted the seminar I went to and was so down to earth and real. He explained everything so you could understand and didn't hold back on what could happen. His staff at Tidewater Surgical Specialist was the best. His Nurse Missy has always been on point and her attitude has been nothing but sweet and professional. I think it is great to be able to go to a Drs. office and relax and laugh with the staff. This team is so awesome I have refered 4 patients to them. 2 have had the surgery and are doing great. One has a date for June 2008 and one is just going to the seminars. I think the most important thing to know about this team of surgeons is that they dont stop after surgery they continue to have group support meetings, and the nutritionist is always available to help with any problems or conerns you might have. So the care doesn't stop after surgery.

Dr. Moore is a wonderful person and physician. I have the benefit as knowing him on a personal and professional level and have nothing but respect for him. rnrnThe Bon Secocurs Surgical Weight Loss program is set up to help there patients succeed with pre op education and post op support. As a physician in the area, I have the benefit of seeing patients from a wide variety of surgeons and have no doubt that those from Bon Secours have more support and that leads to more success in the long run. rnrn
