Dr. Kent conducted the free information seminar that is offered at his office in Brunswick, Georiga. He was very informative. For the first time in my life someone made me feel like being overweight was not my fault. He treated me like just another person, not some fat girl sitting in his office, which was very nice. His office staff is exactly the same. Dr. Kent is somewhat quiet. I have not had any negative happen to comment on. I see Dr. Kent on a monthly basis and he stays current on my eating patterns as he is tracking my weight loss. He was very open to discussing all my questions pre-op and still now that I have had the procedure. I had to have a port revision back in March and Dr. Kent called me after my intial procedure and my port revision. I was very impressed with this as he himself called to check up on me. He is an excellant surgeon and has a great bedside manner. I would recommend him to anyone. I know that it is hard to believe, but I have had nothing bad happen or anything to be negative about. The port revision was a little stressful, but it was just a complication because the port flipped down. There has not been one moment that I have regretted my decision to have the lap band procedure. Thank you Dr. Kent for giving a new lease on my life and treating me and all your patients with respect.
My first impression of Dr Kent was that he is a very quiet man but listens to what you have to say. He explains everything to you that you need to know. He doesn't rush and never makes you feel like he is in a hurry like some doctors do. He makes you feel very comfortable and safe to ask any questions you have. He is the best in my opinion and I have all the confidence in the world in him. rnI see Dr Kent about every 4 wks but I know if I have any problems at all that he will be there. He is a very experience Doctor in several WLS and has many many lapband patients as well as a wonderful surgeon in other areas. He explains how exercise is important in your weight loss and make suggestions of things you can do for exercise and other things to help in your Weight loss process. rnI can't say enough about his excellent office staff and nurses he has in the office. They are the top of the line in insurance infomation and other issues. You have a nutritionist and pyschologist on site. If I have a problem and need to see the doctor, the office staff is on top of it..I never have to wait a long time for an appointment. They are always friendly and professional. There is nothing negative I can think of about him or his office staff. I am so glad I have Dr Kent as my doctor. To me he is the best!rnrnPhyllis Joiner
When I initially saw him I was very impressed by his honesty and professionalism. As time went on I realized he genuinely cared for his patients and took pride in his work. The staff in the office were extremely friendly and supportive. I have no complaints about Dr. Kent to this day. If I have a question I can call him and he will speak to me directly that is very important in a surgeon. I think that his future patients need to know that he is honest about what you need to do to get your weight under control. He really pushes exercise and I love that. Dr. Kent was very supportive in aftercare. He personally called me a few times after surgery to check on me and see if I had any questions. I was very pleased. Dr. Kent definitely believes in follow up and really works around your schedule. Dr. Kent was very honest and upfront about the risks of surgery and he gave me other options so I did not feel pressured into surgery. Overall I would definitely recommend Dr. Kent to anyone. I felt like the whole experience was wonderful and I have no regrets. I have a great surgeon.
Dr. Kent seem to me to very compassionate about helping people with the WLS.rnMy Impression has not changed I thnk he is a wonderful person and DR.rnHave not found a thing I don't like about him.rnWell you should know you will bein the best of care under Dr Kent....rnDr kent and his entire staff are behind you as long as you need their help.rnDr Kent gave a four hour talk to all of use prior to going in to te WLS and told all the goods and the possible Bads.rnI Rate Dr Kent s one of the best WLS in the country.rnHis entire person and manner are gereat.
