    Dr. Isaias Irgau, M.D., FACS, FRCS (Ed) is president and co-founder of the Christiana Institute of Advanced Surgery (CHRIAS). He has extensive experience with minimally invasive weight loss surgery. Dr. Irgau has personally performed over 2,000 bariatric procedures with excellent results. He and his associate Dr. Wynn started and established the Bariatric Surgery Program in two of Delaware’s leading medical centers – Christiana Hospital and St. Francis Hospital. With the addition of Dr. Michael Peters Jr. to CHRIAS, they eventually led the two hospitals to earn the prestigious designation of Center of Excellence in Bariatric Surgery.
