Dr. Coon is a wonderful doctor. Once you are his patient, you are his patient for life. Even if your insurance changes or you have no insurance, he will still see you & only charges a small co-pay. He has genuine concern & compassion for his patients. He works with you in making the best decisions for surgery options based not only on your wants, but what your needs are based on your medical history, medication needs, etc.

I had my first consult with Dr Coon and I think he is really interested in my weight problem. He spent a lot of time listening to me and answering all my questions and the questions my husband had also. The office staff was very friendly and helpful. I think Dr Coon is an excellent choice and I hope my insurance company will approve surgery. The office is already working on getting all the information I need for approval.
Dr. Coon and staff are great people. I had my surgery in January 15, 2016. He comfort me and knew what type of surgery was best for my needs. I am very happy about my results

I absolutely love Dr. Coon. I loved how he not only explained my surgery to me he actually gave me visual of the tools he would use to preform my surgery. He was such a nice man and he made me feel very comfortable. His staff is amazing and very nice. I would highly recommend DR.Coon. My surgery was good and I had no complications. Dr.Coon saved my life and I feel so much better because of him. Thank you Dr. Coon for giving my life back.
AMAZING!!! Everything about the office and everyone who works there are all amazing. My insurance was a little hectic to deal with and Mary took total control of the situation and took so much stress off me by reassuring me it was under control. The front office were sooo good with my appointment reminders calling me if i didnt check in to help me proceed when I felt like giving up. Dr. Coon was so informative with every surgery option and helped me to choose the right one, what Doctor gives you his personal # to get a hold of him when we are in pain or for any complications with our surgery DR. COON!:) They all made me feel like more than just a patient like they really care! Very experienced, very informative, and very caring! I'm so blessed to have had an amazing Doctor and people to help me through this new journey of mine. Thank you Dr. Coon and everyone in his office!
I have known of Dr. Coon for several years from family, friends and patients of mine. I have known others who had wls successfully prior to my surgery. He is a very caring physician and I would recommend him to anyone thinking about wls. His staff members are excellent as well.
I had a hard time following my pre op diet... but dr. coon and his staff were still able to perform my gastric bypass with no problems...
when I woke up from surgery I was VERY surprised at the minimal amount of pain I was in. I was up and walking within 45 minutes after recovery!
I am about 3 weeks post op and have lost almost 20 lbs!!! I am very pleased with the experience at new image bariatric.
Laurie (patient coordinator) has been nothing short of AMAZING!! soooo supportive, and dr. coon's nurse is very personable and compassionate.

I love Dr. Coon!!!! When I first met with Dr. Coon, his office staff were the first faces I saw and I have to say that Jessica was a god send. She helped me understand everything and get the process rolling. When I met with Dr. Coon I knew for sure that he was going to provide me with the best experience possible and let me tell you it was. I am one month post op and am doing great, I have lost almost 30 lbs and am no longer diabetic and no longer have high blood pressure. If I could recommend both the gastric and Dr. Coon to anyone I would. This has been the best outcome I could have possibly imagined

I was nervous, scared and apprehensive when I walked into Dr.Coon's office for the first time. The thought of having surgery with all of it's possible complications as well as all the horror stories I had heard was enough to make me turn around and leave. But as soon as I walked in Dr.Coon's office, his staff made me feel very relaxed. When I sat down to talk about surgery and all the options with Dr.Coon I felt very comfortable with him. As others have said he has a very calming presense about him. He took the time to answer all my questions in great detail and listened to all my fears about having the surgery. When I walked out of the office that day I knew he was the only surgeon I wanted to do this procedure. His staff took care of my insurance authorization and was always very friendly and helpful when I called with quetions. My post-op care has been just as wonderful. I know without a doubt Dr.Coon and his staff are the best there is!
