I had my Surgery on September 12 2011. I had a wonderful experance, when i arrived at the hospital every one was so nice and helpful. Dr. Schram came to pre op and prayed with my husband and myself, which i want to thank him for that. When i came out of surgery I was not in much pain at all. The nurses on the floor were so kind and helpful the whole time i was there.

I just want to tell Dr. Schram what a wonderful surgern he is, and thank you so very much for giving me my life back.

Dr. Jon Schram gave me confidence in having my procedure done, I was debating this for a long time.
Him and his staff are super freindly and make me feel good about my progress.. My stay in the hospital was great, My daughter came with me I was not expecting an over night stay in the hospital due to the hernia I had Dr Schram said I had to stay over night.. We were unprepared he told the hospital to set my daughter up in my room.. Thank you Dr Schram for being such a great Doctor ,,,not to mention he prayed for me before the surgery...

I had my Gastric bypass11/2010 I have been very happy with my weight loss, and my new good health. Dr. Schram is a wonderful Doctor. He is great in office and while you are in the hospital. His Holland staff are also nice, they always take my calls and are very helpful, when I go to the office its like seeing old friends. The only complaint I have is his billing, I am a cerified biller, and have found that his billing person has no idea what they are doing, they do not return phone calls, and will tell you they are going to rebill your claim and nothing happens.

Dr. Jon Schram and Staff in Holland were wonderful to me. I would recommend seeing him before weight loss surgery with anyone else.

I met Dr. Schram a ittle over 2 years ago. I was interested in weight loss surgery, but wasn't sure which one would be best for me. After completing a consultation with Dr. Schramm, I realized that gastric bypass would work best for me. The staff in the Holland office were very kind and informative- many of them having gone through the surgery themselves.

Dr. Schram prayed with me before the surgery, which then made any worries I still may have had disappear. The hospital staff in Ypsilanti was wonderful and accomodating- meeting with the nutritionist several times before I was discharged so that I had all of the necessary tools to be successful.

Since my surgery I've lost 170 pounds, and I have a whole new, active, rewarding life! Dr. Schram and his staff have been a contiuous support. The only regret that I have is that I didn't do this 20 years sooner!!

I first met Dr Schram on April 11 of this year.
Being 3+ hours earily for my consult...The staff at Baritic clinic were welcoming, treating me with respect... What amazed me the most is the people there for the same reason. They shared their lives with me. Dr Schram's staff came to get me talked to me answered some questions, with Dr Schram coming down to see me about 10 minutes later.
Was I in shock.. Between surgeries.

Dr was very attentive, medical staff was very professional and nice. Dr had alot of experience with this particular surgery.The hospital that was chosen performs bariatric surgeries only which is a plus. I think Dr. Schram would be a good doctor. I would prefer surgical competence and u can not be nice all the time. He is a very approachable doctor and willing to answer any questions asked of him.

When I first met with Dr Schram I was impressed with how personable he was with a room full of people. His explination of all the different procedures was easy to understand and very thorough. When it came to the one-on-one meeting it was no different. We talked about what procedure would work best for me and he answered all my questions, and beleive me I had a bunch. He didn't seem to be in a hurry to get on to the next patient, and in this day and age that impressed me.
My whole experience was made easy by he and his staff, like it was meant to be.

On the day of my surgery I was most impressed by his willingness to pray with me before the surgery. A prayer that I will never forget asking God to guide his hands through the procedure. This being the first time ever in my life that I had any kind of surgery, it made me so at ease.
