He earned a medical degree from Howard University College of Medicine in Washington, D.C., followed by completion of a Surgical Residency at the University of California, Davis. His post-residency training focused on bariatric and laparoscopic surgery procedures. He is board certified with the American Board of Surgery in General Surgery. Dr. Taylor practiced locally for several years in Zachary, Louisiana and then joined the Surgery Department of the Baton Rouge Clinic in March 1, 2010.
