Kenneth D. Minks Bariatric Surgeon M.D.

Dr. Minks is a 1999 graduate of Loyola's Stritch School of Medicine. He completed his residency in general surgery in 2004 at Loyola University Medical Center in Chicago. Dr. Minks joins us from Scott Air Force Base, Illinois where he spent four years as a general surgeon in the United States Air Force. Dr. Minks practices the full spectrum of general surgery, and has particular interests in advanced laparoscopic surgery, bariatrics, and trauma surgery. He has also completed training in advanced wound care and hyperbaric wound therapy. Dr. Minks is board certified in General Surgery by the American Board of Surgery. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He also maintains several professional organization memberships. He has full privileges at MetroHealth Hospital, and courtesy privileges at Spectrum Hospitals in Grand Rapids.
