    Dr. Dumon is an assistant professor of surgery at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. He received his medical degree from Katholieke Universiteit Leuven Belgium. Dr. Dumon completed his residency in general surgery at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, where he also completed clinical fellowships in minimally invasive surgery and bariatric surgery and a research fellowship in surgical oncology. His clinical interests include minimally invasive and weight loss surgery. Dr. Dumon investigates bariatric surgery clinical outcomes and researches patient safety and quality improvement in this field.

    Dr. Dumon is board certified in general surgery.
