    Dr. Leland J. Cook is the Medical Director for Frye’s Surgical Weight Loss Program. Dr. Cook received his medical degree from the University of Kentucky, where he also completed his residency. He has specialized in bariatric surgery since the program’s inception in November 2001. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a Fellow of the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery. Dr. Cook performs the laparoscopic Roux en Y gastric bypass, the Laparoscopic adjustable gastric band (Lap-band and REALIZE band) and the laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy procedures.
