I had the Duodenal Switch done this past Wednesday 1/9/13...and Dr. Hill was absolutely amazing, surgery went beautifully! He is such a down to earth person and not only made myself feel comfortable and confident, but was also able to put my family at ease as well.I was able to go home Friday morning. Let me tell you..Adirondack Medical Center and all of there staff are awesome...Could not have had a better surgeon, or hospital stay!

I can't say enough positives about Dr. Hill. He is truly a great surgeon, and as all other posts proclaim his bedside manner is impeccable, he is friendly, warm, and makes you feel that you are going to succeed. I am currently 4 weeks post op and his follow up care has been great as well. I am so glad I chose him, and I would recommend him to anyone else looking for a great surgeon in the Adirondacks.

I met with dr. Hill today 11/15/12 for my pre opt appt . Before my surgery on 11/20. You know how they have a MCdreamy on grays anatomy, well dr hill is the MCdreamy of adirondack medical Ctr. He was very friendly and pleasant to talk to, you understood everything and made my husband and me so much more relaxed for the up coming surgery. . He answered all questions so you would understand, and the girls in that department make you feel like they have known you for a long time. Thanks for making me calm for this procedure. I will let you know how everything went on the other side of 11/20. : )

Dr. Hill has been caring and informative throughout my journey in AMCs Bariatric Program. He performed Lap RNY on me on 7/3/2012. Surgery went smoothly. I've had a few bumps along the way that he's made sure to take care of immediately. He's a nice guy with a professional bedside manner, he has a very pleasant and playful personality. He spends time explaining exactly how the procedure goes and explains all the statistics, good and bad. I felt well prepared going into surgery. He visited often while I was hospitalized post op and is good at what he does. I've had relatives and friends recommend him and I'm grateful I took their advice. He is lucky to also have a great team behind him in the Bari Center. They are all helpful and encouraging. I would recommend AMCs program to anyone.

Dr. Hill of Adirondack Medical in Saranac Lake, NY is a great surgeon. He always made me feel confident in my choice and i never had a doubt that I would succeed in my weight loss. He's very professional but also very happy and pleasant. I've lost 45# during my 12 weeks post op Duodenal Switch surgery. I have had no problems. Dr. Hill and his staff at the Bariatric Center are very helpful and informative.

i just had my surgery on june 5 i have lost 40lbs so far and doing ok besides not keeping anything down.i thought Dr. Hill was and is the best dr i have ever had. his bedside manor is amazing. i would recommend this surgery to anyone who is looking to lose alot of weight. i was scared for a while but once i met him my anxiety level went way down. i loved how nice linda the nurse was she came and saw me everyday i was there and even did a follow up call asking how im doing. i cant wait to eat semi solids and not have dumping. so to all who have health issues due to your health or need to lose a bunch of weight go here!!!!you wont regret it.again thank you so much Dr. Hill for changing my life literally. my family appreciates it!

I found Dr. Hill extremely likeable, he sat down with me and my wife and took us through the procedure step by step. he warned us of the dangers and was there for me every step of the way. after the surgery he checked on me at least once a day if not more, he scheduled a two year aftercare progam for me, his manner both bedside and surgical are excellent, on a scale of 1 - 10 i would give him a 9+ , he truely is that good

i had dr,hill as my surgern.had operation on nov 22 20011 and its the best thing i ever done no complaints no problems so far lost 130 pounds walk 1 mile a day ready to move up a little but b4 that wasent no walkin not doing any thing,so if yer over weight try the operation,..fell great and have a wonderfull day and thanks for listinin..

Dr. Hil performed my Roux en Y on 09/29/05. He came highly recommended by a friend. She said he was "easy on the eyes" and although that is very true - it is his bedside manner and expertise that are most impressive. Since then, I have referred two other individuals to him for weight loss surgery. The care I recieved by Dr. Hill and the team at AMC was outstanding.

For the 1st two and 1/2 years I was very successful. I have regained a significant amount of weight and have moved from St. Law. County to Jefferson County. I am preparing to consult with a bariatric surgeon in Syracuse for evalution to see if a revision is needed.

I would recommend him to anyone considering WLS...
