Dr. Peters is the utmost best doc I've ever dealt with. My surgery ran late on Monday Jan 26, 2015. Dr. Peters personally apologized for it. Checked on me both days after surgery and was shocked that I was up, moving around, getting in fluids as I was told to do. He called me a "rockstar"..... He's the rockstar. Dr. Peters has giving me my life back. It's up to me what I do with the tool he gave me.

I was very nervous when I went to see Dr. Peters for the first time to discuss WLS. MY partner was completely against it. Dr Peters came in and we talked for what seemed like hours. He was very caring, and listened to all her concerns. He is a great surgeon and after the meeting she was fine. She feels very comfortable with him. I know I am going to have a great outcome with this great tool that I have been given a chance at. I am looking forward to him performing my surgery in September. Thank you Dr Peters for everything.

I found Dr. Peters through my sister who she had as her WLS. I am truly happy to have him as my surgeon. He is very thorough and caring. His office staff is very friendly. Look forward to having him perform my surgery.

My first meeting with Dr. Peters went very well. He was very informative, caring, and a great listener. I had started the process with another surgeons clinic, but I never met the surgeon and felt uncomfortable with my decision. Dr. Peters office staff was very pleasant. After my original surgery I have had several complications that have lasted over several months. Dr. peters made a point to come visit EVERY DAY while I was at Christiana for an infection. It seems like he is always on call. I must say he is very responsive to any problems and always takes time to explain everything. He is also very knowledgeable about complications and other health issues that are not necessarily related to the bypass, but that do play a part in the whole person. (For example, my blood pressure can get REALLY low...Dr. Peters took time to look at all of the meds and to discuss what I should make sure not to take and things, more than the cardiologist explained!)

My first impression of Dr. Peters was that he was a little younger then what I expected but I soon came to realize that no matter what his age was, he was a kind man and was very easy to talk to. I felt I could ask him anything and was not embarrased. He was very upfront about the risks of the surgery and pulled no punches when it came to the classes I would need to attend at PMRI for a $100 fee. At first the classes seemed a bit much but after the fact, I'm so thankful that I have all the information I do because of those classes. The pysch eval and endrochronologist visit set me back $30 co-pays each. At my two month mark I have to go back to PMRI but it will only be $30. The day of surgery he greeted me beforehand and set my mind at ease. He or his fellow surgeons at CHRIAS were there to check on me every day at the hospital and was only a phone call away if I needed something. The office staff is average along with the appointment wait times. I liked the fact that I didn't have to pay co-pays for my 2 week, one month (and upcoming three month) visits. However, I didn't like that it wasn't Dr. Peters seeing me for my follow-ups. I saw his physican's assistant, Ed. Now, Ed is nice, but I would have preferred to see my actual doctor. Overall, I have had no major problems or complications from my surgery and I'm very happy with my choice of doctor. I would recommend Dr. Peters to anyone looking for a good doctor.

I adore Dr. Peters! I attended his seminar and knew that night if I was moving forward with the surgery he would be my surgeon. During our meeting Dr. Peters took his time explaining all of the details and answering all of my questions. My surgery date was on 12/28/09 and on New Years Eve I needed to contact him. He returned my call within 3 minutes and stayed on the phone with me until I felt comfortable about my situation. Not only do you get a world class surgeon, but you also get a physician that understands patients urgency after the procedure.

Dr.Peter's is amazing, I went to his seminar and was impressed from the moment he began speaking...he also did my surgery consult and I absolutly love him and my team...the whole approach that is used at Chritiana where Im having my surgery is amazing...the whole program itself has come a long way and I feel completely ready and blessed on how things have worked out so far...every question is answered and someone is always there to support you...it's not a fly in and out place and then your on your own...the follow up care is incrediable and I know Im in great hands for sure...not to mention he is the head of surgery so that makes me even more comfortable...He is completely honest and straight to the point and I have heard nothing but amazing things about him from his other patients...I would recomend him to anyone...
