Dr. Michel Stephan, Bariatric Surgeon

Michel Stephan, MD, FACS is the founder of Texas Surgery Associates located in Mesquite, Texas. Board-certified by the American Board of Surgery, he specializes in minimally invasive, advanced laparoscopic surgery. He earned his medical degree from the American University of Beirut in Beirut, Lebanon and completed his General Surgery Residency at Conemaugh Valley Memorial Hospital in Johnstown, Pennsylvania and at Temple University School of Medicine Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He went on to complete a fellowship in Cardiovascular Surgery at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas.

Dr. Stephan is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS), a member of the American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS), American Medical Association, the Texas Medical Association, and the Dallas County Medical Society.
