Dr. Jawad is very knowledgeable when it comes down to bariatric surgery and is very qualified. He may come across as impersonable but he is the complete opposite just quiet and reserved type of guy. He performed surgery on me this past Monday, October 17, 2011 and went without any complications. The pain was very tolerable and so far I'm very pleased with his work.

Dr Jawad is an excellent surgeon. He is very knowledgeable. He has been doing surgery (first abdominal & then bariatric) forever. Yet he keeps up with current techniques. I did lots of research, including talking to many other patients & medical professionals. His reputation is impeccable. Now that I have been a patient & had surgery, I see why. Although, I could have done without the GTube he requires. His Nurse Practitioner, Kelly is also excellent!

Dr. Jawad and his staff were extremely thorough in making sure that I had all the pertinent information I needed during the pre-op phase and since the surgery on 8/24/11. While somewhat nervous about undergoing surgery I was quite confident in his skill as a surgeon. The surgery went well and I am 3 weeks post-op and have not experienced any complications.

Dr.Jawad is amazing! He cares about his patients and is available ANYTIME you need him!
I had the VSG by Dr. Jawad on 7/25/11 and I feel amazing. Im down 41 lbs in 5 weeks and I am looking forward to seeing him just to hear what he has to say! (I see him on 9/6/11). I recommend Dr. Jawad to all of my friends who are looking to have WLS. I really LOVE Sandy at Dr. Jawads office! She is caring, knows what we are going through and understands!

Highest weight was 298lbs... so I decided to convert to the RNY on July 6, 2011 from the lapband which was done in 10/ 2009. DR. JAWAD HAS BEEN WONDERFUL N HIGHLY RECOMMENDED THRU BOTH OF THE SURGERIES HE HAS PERFORMED ON ME ;+)

The staff at Dr.Jawad's Ocala office, have all been great so far. I really liked Dr. Jawad's approach, he is a tell it like it is surgeon, which I like. I have no complaints so far.

Received excellent care. Dr. Jawad performed my VSG 3/7/2011. The care I received at Ocala Regional Medical Center was fantastic! His staff is awesome. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to have WLS.

Dr. Jawad performed my RNY on May 26, 2010. I have been very pleased with the surgery, Dr. Jawad and his staff. He was very thorough with his explanation of the procedure and what it would entail. His staff has been very knowledgeable about what to expect and have always answered any questions or concerns I have had, bar none.

The hospital experience was also very good. They were all very caring and experienced, I could not have asked for anything better.

If I could do it all over again the only thing I would change would be to have had this done years earlier!
