Dr Shah saved my life. After going to different doctors trying to figure out why I was so sick from my lap band surgery done by another doctor, which also included an emergency room visit back in February, Dr. Shah figured it out and truly saved my life. thank you from the bottom of my heart!

I only have great things to say about Dr. Shah. He was informative and answered every question I had. The office is great. The program is great. I really did my research and found that this was the most prepared staff I found. I felt like I worked towards this surgery rather than just convinced to have it. What I mean by that is that it wasn't as easy as some other clinics I've seen. They really want to make sure you know what you're having done. And not so much the prodedure but the lifetime efforts that go with it. I felt prepared for the surgery and I knew exactly what to expect. I felt that with every visit I was reminded of what I was doing and how I would need to take care of myself after. So overall I would highly recommend Dr. Shah and the Lennox Hill Bariatric program to anyone who's looking for an excellent program.

He seems very knowledgeable and caring. He lets you choose the best surgery for you. I haven't had my surgery yet but I will keep you guys posted.rnrnHis bedside manner is excellent he really cares. He saw me in the Hospital and made sure everything was fine. Even my pain mangement doctor used him to perform her gall bladder surgery. So you know if other doctors start trusting you then you know you are good. I will keep you postedrnrn

Dr. Shah is exactly what I was looking for. Rarely do you find a surgeon that has great talent, great stats and a personality with a sense of humor.rnrnMy previous experience finding a surgeon left me always leaving thinking that the doctor was the most arrogant SOB on the face of the earth, Dr. Shah broke that image and made me feel like a real person and not another \"case\"rnrnMy follow up appointments are always a wonderful experience. His practice at Lenox Hill Hospital is a \"one stop shop\", they have a nutritionist and psychologist on staff along with monthly support groups that separate Lapband and RNY patients so that we can focus on our specific issues/concerns....and these groups are filled with wonderful people.rnrnSharon the nutritionist also runs the groups, so you always have access to great advice...plus she is a trainer at a gym...a big plus when you have questions about developing an exercise routine.rnrnhttp://www.nycbariatrics.com

my first impression of Dr.Shah was \"wow\" he's kinda young and cuuuute! LoL but seriously dr. Shah is \"da man\" I totally trusted him with this surgery, he and his office staff made me feel very at ease. they addressed all the risks of this surgery. they also encourage the paitents to go to the support groups and see the nutritionsits. I mean every \"T\" was crossed and every \"I\" was dotted. they didn't miss a beat.

Dr. Shah is a loving person. I felt very comfortable from the first time I met him. My impression of him never changed, he always has a smile no matter how busy he is. I have never been in his office. There is nothing I liked least about him. Dr. Shah's staff sees patients the first week out for 1 month and then sees us each month after that for the first year. Every 3 to 6 months after that. He and his staff have a wonderful aftercare problem. I was told about the risk with surgery in my first meeting with Dr. Shah. I think he and his staff are wonderful people and have saved many lives from this terrible disease Morbid Obesity.rn09/03/07rnDr. Shah's move to NY a couple of years ago. To head the Gastric bypass. I don't know the complete story.

When i first meet with Dr. Shah was for my endoscopy and i instantly felt at ease something about his presence just made felt calm and at ease. I felt the same way for my surgery waiting in the waiting area i was a bit nervous and anxious but as soon as i saw him and spoke to him i felt a calm come over me and of course i prayed as well and i was ready to go. The staff is also great they are always there to answer questions and a very nice when it came to the insurance aspect i just did my part which was the 6 month supervised weightloss and they took care of the rest. In regards to surgical competence and beside manner they both were great! I rate Dr. Shah a 10 on a scale 1-10!!! Im actually refering my cousin to him. **Kati**
