    Dr. Ravindra Mailapur started his surgical training as a resident in the United Kingdom where he received his fellowship in General Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. During his residency in the United Kingdom, Dr. Mailapur developed interest in Minimally Invasive Surgery. He immediately saw the diversity and the challenge of this field, and the potential it had to offer. This potential eventually led him to the United States where he completed his medical training at Bronx Lebanon Hospital Center, which is affiliated to the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York. Dr. Mailapur completed his fellowship training in Advanced Laparascopy and Bariatric Surgery.

    Dr. Mailapur believes that medicine is more than a career. His personality shows that the practice of medicine encompasses what is best in man. Dr. Mailapur strives daily to be the best physician that he can be, not only for himself, but for his patients as well.
