I am so happy that I found Dr. Bonnor, I had looked at other weight loss programs and did not feel comfortable or informed enough to make the right decision. I have heard many horrible stories of people having surgery and feeling abandoned afterwards with no clue what to do next. Dr. Bonnor truly cares and takes great pride in his work and patients! You feel informed, educated, and most importantly supported in the entire process, not to mention his entire staff is awesome! I would recommend Dr. Bonnor to any one that is exploring weight loss surgery!

I was referred to Dr. Bonnor by a friend who had just had the gastric sleeve surgery. She told me nothing but good things about the service and procedure. She also looked great after five months and seemed overwhelmingly happy about her transformation. I too thought her presence and demeanor had improved significantly. I asked many question about it until I finally convinced myself to make an appointment. When I first came in the ladies at the front desk were super helpful in setting me up with information. Dr. Bonnor was very truthful with me about my current state which I value more than anything! I decided to set up a scheduled surgery for the gastric sleeve. After the decision was made it was smooth sailing through the whole process of getting ready for the surgery thanks to the ladies in the office always explaining my options to me. After surgery I had no issues with anything . I healed accordingly with no major problems . Overall I am so happy I made this decision, and I highly recommended Dr. Bonnor and his staff!

Dr. Bonnor has been great. I had lap band in 2007 from a different doctor and came to his office for revision to sleeve. He has great bedside manners, wanted the best options for me and actually cares if I have success. Surgery went well and now starting my weight loss journey. His staff is very knowledgeable and friendly as well and that is a plus. Thanks for everything.

Dr. Bonnor's office staff is very efficient and friendly. In a matter of one or two visits they were able to accomplish something I was unable to do working 7 years on my own with my insurance company. They definitely got the job done.

My experience from 1st appointment to post-surgery has been wonderful. Dr. Bonnor is an amazing doctor. He is very serious about what he does and the well being of his patients. Any worry or wonder were all eased by Dr. Bonnor's knowledge and expertise. His staff is equally amazing. They have no problem answering any of my questions from what to drink to financial concerns. They value their patients and are willing to help in any way with speedy results. All in all I would recommend this practice to anyone in need of bariatric services. Dr. Bonnor and his staff has played a huge part in changing my life and I am truly grateful!

After graduating high school, I began to gain the "College 15." Then the 15 became 20, then 30 and so on. In 2012, I found out I was pregnant with my first child. After his birth, the pounds continued to stack up. By the time I knew it, I was 23 years old and 283 lbs...This was not the future I planed for myself. I wanted to be energized and motivated to do things with my little boy, and I just wasn't. Having struggled with weight issues my entire life-I finally decided to consider other options having little success with other programs and dieting.

I was referred to Dr. Bonnor in 2013 by a family member and patient of his. Upon first meeting Dr. Bonnor, I was taken back by how honest and up front he was about the reality of my situation. These were the facts: I was 23, 283lbs, with a family history of diabetes, hyper-tension, and high cholesterol. Then I realized, should I expect for Dr. Bonner to sugar coat my situation? The reality he laid out in front of me impacted my life tremendously. He told me this was not going to be an easy fix, and that it was up to me to work at my weight loss. With very little faith in myself at the time, I became motived because HE believed I could do it - and I have so far.

I chose to have the Gastric Sleeve procedure in April 2014. After the surgery, I felt the way anyone would have going through a surgical procedure - but that did not last long. Within a week, I was back to doing normal things around the house just a little bit slower. During the Post-Op time, Dr. Bonner was there to answer any questions I had and make sure that the healing process was on track. Today, being 5 months out since the procedure...I have lost a total of 75 lbs and feel great. I believe that Dr. Bonner provided me a stepping stool to the life I always envisioned for myself. Although I am no where near where I plan to be 7 months from now, I know that I have taken a huge step in the right direction. Dr. Bonner has impacted my life dramatically, and I can't imagine being in the same place I was 5 months ago. My son turned two in September, and reflecting back to his first birthday makes me appreciate the opportunity Dr. Bonner placed in my hands even more. When my son turned one, I was so uncomfortable in my own skin. I did not wish to participate in any of the physical activity that was involved in his party. This year, I was full of energy and eager to help the kids hit the piñata, and lift them up and down on to the bounce house.

It's the little things that I get to do now that I would want to avoid prior to the weight loss that makes me appreciate my life more. I am getting my life back, and I cannot express in words this emotion that I feel. I highly recommend Dr. Bonner at Texas Endosurgery Associates. Without his honesty, motivation, and God given talent, I would still be that woman that would avoid the mirror than look at herself with huge disappointment based on my weight. I am so proud to say, that I admire the person that I am now. Losing weight is not only doing great things for me from a health perspective, but also for my self confidence.

I research several doctors for my weight loss surgery. I chose Dr. Bonnor because of his friendly staff and Dr. Bonnor's credentials and his nonsense approach. Other offices I visited, I felt like I was dealing with used car salesmen; more interested in money.

My surgery at Memorial Herman and my over night stay impressed me, I received excellent care from their staff.

I remember when Dr. Bonnor visited me to release me from the hospital. I could see he was excited for me and expressed to me and my wife he will do everything possible to help me reach my goal weight and have a new life. The visit ended with my wife taking a picture of me and Dr. Bonnor.

No pain from the surgery, no nausea and a very quick recovery was also very good.
