I've been seeing Dr Rossi since 2007. He is by far the best Dr. I've lost around 100 pounds with my lap band surgery and have kept it off since 2008. I had to have mine replaced because the port came loose. Dr Rossi knew what to do when and had it replaced in 3 mths. What held us up was my insurance company. I would never go to another Dr. Everytime you call you get an appointment fast. He has an awesome staff!

I have been seeing Dr. Rossi for six months now and two months previously a year ago. I have always felt welcomed and as time gets closer more aware. It is totally up to who is having surgery to do the research. He is a very busy person. I can't say one bad thing about him or his staff. They do know what they are doing. Everything is going as it should. Some people you just can't make happy not matter if you place a gold crown on their head. I have seen it myself there. One person comes out happy and the next comes out complaining that he wasn't friendly. I lost my insurance the first time and had to wait to get it back, he was my choice. I am so happy that I included him in my journey.

i'm horrible at this sort of thing but i've also had alot of experiences w/ other surgeons given my mother had to surgeon shop. rossi lives up to the recommendations given by my mother's surgeon and beyond. his staff was kind, thoughtful, caring, and completely understanding and supportive of me from the moment i called to make my initial appt. they worked w/ me til i knew how i was going to pay for my surgery and after then they made everything very easy to get accomplished.
my surgery appt is coming up soon and i have complete faith and i am in amazing hands. i've heard nothing but amazing praises from his other patients while speaking with them. xD
on the negative feedback...honestly nothing so far. i'm pretty easy to please when it comes to most things. i've seen bad experiences (coughShin'sofficecough) to where the ladies in the front treated the patients like they were nasty lazy horrid monsters. they have brought many patients to tears before their appointment began. so negative about rossi's group. i'm going to have to say each person has their own experience right now my life is bout to be a life again so i'm happy as a kitty.

My first impression of Dr. Rossi is the best hands down. The office staff is great to work with. From day one i just knew i was making the right decision for me. Inform me/ us his patients is first answers all the questions you have lets you know this is a tool not a cure.
Also is not bad to look at either , he has beauiful eyes.

Highly recommend! Fully made me aware of the procedure and follow up. Sarah in his office is very professional and friendly. All put me very at ease.rnI was very impressed by how Dr Rossi stopped in to check on his patients several times a day. From past hospital stay experience I was lucky if I saw or heard from my Dr at least once a day.

i just attended one of dr rossi seminars. we have a total of 3 wls surgeons at camc where i work. i was the most impressed with dr rossi i have a consult with him next wed. he done one of my friends gallbladder and appendix surgery. i comtemplated wls 2 yrs ago and went to camc wls and i wasnt impressed even though i felt the dr was knowledgable i felt like he was in a hurry to get out and get to other patients. i think this time it will be a success even though ill have to wait 7 mos because of my camc insurance. plus to say he's nice looking helps too. nothing like an eye candy dr

I went to see Dr Rossi on Sept 09. It was a wonderful visit. I didn't have to wait long at all I had my cousin with me she has been such an inspiration to me. Dr Rossi came in explained everything to me and I actually went to have the lapband done but said that I would benefit more from gastric bypass. Yes I was scared. He helped comfort me explaining the good verse the bad and made sure that I understood everything before I left. He told me that it was a big decision and just to take time and I could let him know. So I called him back the next day and let him know that RNY is the what I wish to do. So I got the operation date of Oct 1 wow that was fast. He is so understanding and so patient. I was very comfortable with him. rnrnrnMy check-up 10-10-08 went to Dr Rossi's office and had a wonderful experience with Dr Rossi's office except when the tube came out OMG the burn.. But I kept saying (this to shall pass.) But other than that it was great I lost 28lbs. I was able to go on puree foods yummy.. He is a very compasionate person. He is no hurry for anything. He answered all questions and even give information that was needed. But I must have to say he is the brownest eyes I have ever seen. But he has been so wonderful to me. I am so happy that my physican recommended me to him.. If you live in the charleston, bluefield or princeton area please feel free to contact me on [email protected]

When I went to Dr Rossi for my appointment, I felt that he was a very caring and knowledgeable physician. Any questions and reservations that we had about the procedure were answered and explained in understandable terms. He alsomade sure that we did not feel rushed, that we had time to cover all aspects and questions that we had. Also, Sara from his office staff is just wonderful! Anytime I had questions, or was just nervous about what was going on with my paperwork during my wait-she was there. She handled everything for me. Whether it was there for paper work or to just listen. Everyone there was just wonderful!

When I went for my consult, Dr. Rossi was very knowledgeable. He explained everything that one would need to know about the surgery. I had researched quite alot before I saw him, so I was able to ask alot of questions. He was very thorough as he answered my questions, he gave me plenty of chances to ask any more questions I had. He seemed in a hurry, but did not rush me out, or make me feel rushed. I think that he is just a busy man, and had a full day of patients. I was comfortable around him, and am glad he will be doing my surgery. His office staff could not be better, they are very, very nice. I had to wait a good while in the waiting room, but thats ok, I feel like that cant be helped. Sara, the lady that deals with the insurance, is SUPER. She is one of the nicest people I've meet. I am glad I chose this surgeon, and his staff for my WLS.
