Very trustworthy. I felt that way from the beginning and it has not changed. He seems like he is very well trained. rnrnOffice staff is great! very supportive.rnrnThere is alot of emphasis on aftercare.rnrnHe was straight forward about the risk of surgery, yet very confident that it was going to be fine.rnrnI would rate Dr. Robbins very high. He has very good surgical competence and bedside manner. I wish that I could have seen him more, but I was very comfortable with his capabilities.

Dr. Robbins in a great surgeon. His office staff are really good. Little slow about the insurance though. Some of that im sure is the insurance company.rnrnIm several months post op now and have had a set back. My port and band has become seperated. Im a little upset that for the last 2 months i had tried to tell him that something was wrong. He did a xray and it was fine the 1st month now after a repeat it show it is clearly detached. rnrnHe is working on getting me a surgery date to correct problem.rnrnOverall i think he has been great. Somethings you just cant predict. I would recommend him to anyone thinking of surgery.

Dr. Robbins is a fantastic doctor. I was the 49th patient he has preformed the lap band surgery on. He expects great things from his weight loss patients and will tell you if you are not following the new lifestyle changes. I especially like the way he talks to me. He really listens and I appreicate that so much. rnHis entire staff is so helpful and friendly. Especially Alta. Not only is she easy to talk to, but she has had the surgery herself and is a wealth of information from personal experience.

Dr Robbins and his entire staff has been the most wonderful group of people to have supporting you through your weight loss journey. You are given every bit of information you could possibly need to know before surgery to help you pick which surgery is right for you as well as to insure that you have all the tools and facts to promote your success. I couldnt have made a better decision going to Dr Robbins and would reccommend him and his staff to anyone who asks!

I had my surgery on May 5, 2008 at Flowers Hospital. rnWhen I first meet Dr. Robbins I thought that he was very nice and answered all my questions and concerns. The office staff have all been very nice and helpful to me everytime I have called or been in the office. rnI am very happy with Dr. Robbins and his staff! Everything is great!

I was very impressed with Dr. Robbins. He was very plain spoken and very personable. At the group consult, he talked WITH us not AT us. He seemed very honest and upfront with the information he gave us. I continue to be impressed with his manner. His office staff is the best! The ones that work directly with the bariatric patients seem very genuine in wanting to help and they are in no way judgemental. The least thing I like about them is their lack of information they pass on. It seems to come \"piece meal\" if you know what I mean. I do realize that the Lap Band surgery is rather new to them, but there are still a little too many unanswered questions. At the beginning, I didn't know enough to even know what to ask but a lot of what I needed to know could have been shared before the surgery. Future patients need to do their homework and research whatever method they choose and ASK QUESTIONS!! After care is very important. The whole staff is very concerned with the progress. It's a team effort and they are definitely a major part of the team. Dr. Robbins and Flowers Hospital have started a new Bariactric unit. There are support group meetings monthly and they are accessable to answer questions or concerns at anytime. As far as Dr. Robbins addressing the risks of surgery.....he was very straight forward and to the point. He didn't sugar coat anything. I feel very confident in him and his ability to help me regain control of my life. Overall, I would rate him and his staff very high. I absolutely would and have recommend him to anyone needing help. In my opinion Bedside manner and competence should go hand in hand. I find it hard to trust someone who comes off as a \"know-it-all\" or who treats me just like another dollar to be made.rnDr. Robbins is the absolute best at both!!

My Surgeon is one of the nicest doctors I know. I mean, I am like alot of people and I hate going to the doctor for a check up much more so for anything invovling needles. He was kind and caring before the surgery and now 11 months out from my surgery he is still a generally cool guy. He got the job done, and helped me get my life back in order and my weight down. He's a good guy who enjoys what he does, and does it well.
