Dr. Webb has performed laparoscopic bariatric surgery since 2003.

He has performed DaVinci robotic laparoscopic gastric bypasses and revisional bariatric surgery since 2008. Use of the DaVinci robot allows Dr. Webb and his partners to safely and successfully provide surgical care for patients requiring complex revisional bariatric procedures. Dr. Webb, DePeri, and Rao (Advanced Surgery Group) are currently the only surgeons in Northeast Florida/South Georgia utilizing the DaVinci robot for primary or revisional procedures.
Dr. Webb received his undergraduate degree from Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green Kentucky in 1974. He attended the University of Louisville School of Medicine and received his M.D. degree in 1978.
Dr. Webb moved to Florida in 1978 and completed his General Surgery internship and residency here in Jacksonville through the Jacksonville Health Education Program in 1983.
He was board certified by the American Board of Surgery in 1984 with successful recertifications in 1993 and 2002. He has been a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (F.A.C.S.) since 1986.
Dr. Webb has been designated as a Center of Excellence Surgeon by the Surgical Review Committee (SRC) under the auspices of the American Board of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS).
Dr Webb is proud to be associated with a comprehensive hospital-based bariatric program at Memorial Hospital of Jacksonville, a Center of Excellence facility.

This_is_my_time on June 27, 2010Love, love, love my surgeon! Love his staff, love everything about his program with Novus. He is great overall! Really, nothing negative to say. Not that he is perfect, but he is just what I was looking for and expected.
