Steven Growney Bariatric Surgeon M.D., F.A.C.S.

Dr. Growney is new to bariatric surgery and he is upfront about it. He stated that if that made me uncomfortable, he would understand if I chose to switch to another surgeon.
He stated that there are always two surgeons in the O.R. and at this point in time, he only assists with the surgeries. I am told this is how Dr. Miller learned.
His candor and his demeanor put me at ease. He was very forthright about the procedure and all the risks.

Great emphasis was placed on aftercare and the lifestyle changes that occur following surgery.
