    Dr. Poplawski is a bariatric and general surgeon with twenty-six years of general surgical experience. He serves as a bariatric surgeon and  Medical Director for the Barix Clinics Program in Ypsilanti, Michigan. Dr. Poplawski provides consultative and operative services for patients seeking bariatric surgery. He has a special interest in patients seeking revision surgery for complications or failures of previously performed bariatric procedures.

    Dr. Poplawski is licensed in     Michigan, Pennsylvania, Texas, Ohio, and Arizona. He has had advanced laparoscopic training in Laparoscopic Gastric Bypass in 2004 and is an educator and trainer in open and laparoscopic bariatric surgery.
