  • About Me

    Dr. Beltre has been involved with weight loss surgery and the care of the bariatric patient since 1998. Upon completing his surgical training, Dr. Beltre began to work at a bariatric clinic with some of the most experienced bariatric surgeons of the time. At that time, weight loss surgery was beign performed open throught big incisions. Dr. Beltre relocated to Houston Texas in 2004 to complete a one year fellowship in advanced laparoscopy where he trained with experienced laparoscopic bariatric surgeons. Since completing his training in advanced laparoscopy, Dr. Beltre has been performing the gastric bypass and the lap band using minimally invasive techniques.

    It took me almost a year to get approval but once it was done the surgery was super easy. It has been less then 2 weeks and I feel good. I have been able to walk 2 miles a day and have no really pain More...

    I had my surgery in Mexico and arranged follow up and fills with Dr. Beltre. The office staff and nurse were very nice and helpful, and Dr. Beltre was very nice as well. Unfortunately, this is where the positive ended for me.... I went in More...
