Younan Nowzaradan Bariatric Surgeon M.D.,F.A.C.S.

Dr. Nowzaradan is a very caring doctor. He is the only doctor that would see me when my lapband failed and had broken into pieces causing me lots of pain. At first, I was planning on having a new lapband, but thankfully Dr. Now told me about the sleeve. I had my revision surgery three weeks ago and I am doing very well. I am down 16 pounds and I feel great. Dr. Now's staff is always very caring and I love that he has Saturday appointments so I am not always having to take off work. I am very happy with my sleeve and so thankful to have found such a wonderful revision doctor!

Dr. Younan Nowzaradan is simply the best!!!! There's not one negative thing I can say or think about him or his staff. There has NEVER been a time I've either called his office or went in for a visit that ALL my issues weren't addressed. I've recommented several of my friends and they are also very pleased with their results. The morning of my surgery (4-16-2010) I weighted in at 351lbs, and today I'm 220lbs!!!! And I'm LOVING my life!!!! I never meant a Dr. that is so hands on. If you call and say you need to talk to him, he gets on the phone and actually speak to you, not his nurse or assistant, you get HIM! You will never leave his office with unanswered questions about nothing. I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend him. He makes you feel as if you are his only patient, cause of the time and concern he gives you. I can truly say, "I Love Dr. Nowzaradan".

Dr. Now is wonderful. I just had a revision on 4-12-11. And I feel great. Very little pain.
He and his staff are great and most of all very understanding. Thank you Dr. Now!!

Dr.Now is the best he was very quiet in beginning but over time he comes around and may even smile. However he knows his stuff his staff is always friendly. Especially Rosie she does everything for you by setting appointments and just dealing with your insurance (all headache work). I would recommend the BEST CARE CLINIC to anyone!!!

I just want to say that I love my doctor! Anytime I call his office, or have concerns, he always listens to me. He is a very caring doctor!

When I first met Dr. Now (as he is affectionately called by many of his patients and staff) I had originally intended to have the Lap Band surgery but he told me that Lap Band was not a good option for me because I had so much weight to lose and that my best option was the RNY Gastric Bypass. This was not what I wanted to hear and so my first opinion was less than stellar. However, after I thought it through I came to the conclusion that he was probably right and so I decided to try and see it through. rn Over the months that followed I realized that this guy really knew his stuff and not only was he an excellent surgeon but he was also somewhat of a pioneer in his field and quite possibly the best bariatric surgeon in the entire Houston area.rn His office staff is just wonderful and so friendly! They can help you with anything that you might need both pre-op and post-op from nutrition and fitness education and advice to support group meetings. Many of them are actually former bariatric surgery patients themselves with firsthand knowledge and insight. Because of this it makes for a fantastic aftercare program and an excellent overall weight loss program that is, in my opinion, second to none!

I love my doctor! He is a man of few words but he knows what he is doing. His office staff is all wonderful and they get excited about your weight loss, the are so happy for you. I give Dr. Nowzaradan 10 out of 10! I would recomend him to everyone! He does not just do your surgery and leave you hanging, he wants to see you after your surgery. He does monthly check-ups and wants to know how your weight loss is going. He is a WONDERFUL person and really cares about his patients!

I KNEW THE MINUTE I MET DR. NOWZARADEN THAT HE WOULD BE THE SURGEON THAT I COULD TRUST WITH MY LIFE. HE IS SO KNOWLEGABLE AND CAREING. EVEN WHEN I HAD SOME COMPLICATIONS HE WAS THERE TO GET ME THROUGH IT ALL. I WAS SO IMPRESSED WITH HIM THAT I CHANGED MY PCP TO HIM. I CANT SAY ENOUGH NICE THINGS ABOUT THIS MAN. I HAVE 2 FAMILY MEMBERS THAT WILL SOON BE ONE OF HIS GASTRIC PATIENTS. HIS OFFICE STAFF IS ALSO VERY COMPETENT AND CAREING AS WELL. HIS SUPPORT GROUP MEETINGS ARE WONDERFULL. I WISH I COULD WALK UP TO EVERY OBESE PERSON I SEE AND SHARE MY TESTIMONY OF THE EXPERIENCE OF ALL OF THIS. IT HAS CHANGED MY LIFE SO MUCH ITS HARD TO PUT IT IN WORDS.IF ANYONE READING THIS IS UNSURE ABOUT THE SURGERY OR DR. NOWZARADEN, PLEASE DONT BE.YOU MUST SEE THIS DR ASAP AND I PROMISE YOU WONT REGRET IT.

My first impression of Dr. Nowzaradan was of his office staff. I have never seen a physician's office operate with such precision. These people knew what they were doing. By the time I met Dr. Nowzaradan, he knew more about me than any surgeon had in any of my previous surgery pre-ops. I had some pre-existing conditions which had to be \"fixed\" before the band would be effective. Also, Dr. Nowzaradan would not consider doing the surgery without clearance from my primary physician, which I appreciated. rnrnDuring my hospitalization, my care was excellent. I have an underlying condition for which I was monitored and treated round the clock, and if there was a problem, the nurses could always reach Dr. Nowzaradan within thirty minutes. I think that is amazing. rnrnHow would I rate this surgeon? Well, he's my gastro guy from now on. I use only the best.rnrnI'd be remiss if I did not mention his right hand, Rosie, in the office. Anyone who has been there knows what I'm talking about.
