Noonan, MD, is a board- certified surgeon with a concentration and fellowship in minimally invasive and bariatric surgery. She has held academic appointments as an instructor of surgery at the Medical College of Wisconsin and the University of Pennsylvania, and was a research fellow at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School. She is an associate program director for the general surgery residency, director of the surgical simulation laboratory and faculty for the bariatric fellowship program. She is also a fellow of the American College of Surgeons.     I didn't have my VSG surgery done by Dr. N but even though she is a newer doctor I hear good things about her at the support groups since I had my surgery done by one of her collegues at Abington Hospital.
