He earned his medical degree at the American University of the Caribbean and completed his residency at New York University and his fellowship in Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery at Hackensack University Medical Center and a fellowship in Surgery Critical Care at the University of Michigan. He also received a BA at Brescia University in Kentucky Dr. Talishinskiy is a fellow of the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (FASMBS) and a member of the American College of Surgeons (ACS) and the Society of Critical Care Medicine (ACCM). He has authored numerous publications and research studies.
