Lori Skurbe, RD, MPH, CDE, has been a dietitian for over 20 years and offers extensive experience in weight management, bariatric nutrition and diabetes education. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition from Penn State University and her Master of Public Health from Rutgers University/UMDNJ.
Lori has worked in private physician offices, government agencies and ambulatory care centers providing nutrition education and counseling. She has also held positions at the local, state and national levels of The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, including serving as president of the New Jersey Dietetic Association. Lori also served as the Pediatric Sub-unit section editor for the Weight Management Dietetic Practice group’s newsletter and was named ‘Young Recognized Dietitian of the Year’ earlier in her career.
She has a true personal and professional passion for working with people to help them achieve their health goals through a warm, caring and friendly approach. In her spare time, she enjoys being outdoors, exercising and cooking.
