3. Our experienced surgeons conduct your surgery in an operating room equipped with specialized beds and surgical equipment designed to accommodate bariatric patients.

4. Our private, post-surgery bariatric suites give you the comfort and privacy you need to recover from your surgery. Each suite is equipped with special bathroom setups for weight-loss patients, as well as a bariatric recliner for patients or their visitors. You'll also find bariatric-friendly furniture throughout our hospital to help make your stay more comfortable.

Our Accreditation
Kennedy University Hospital is the only Southern New Jersey hospital to be accredited by the Bariatric Surgery Center Network (BSCN) Accreditation Program of the American College of Surgeons (ACS).

This prestigious designation means that you are ensured the highest level of care through the Kennedy Bariatric Surgery Program.

Established by the ACS in 2005, ACS BSCN accreditation is awarded tobariatric surgery centers that demonstrate a commitment to providing the highest quality care. Accredited centers must provide the resources and support necessary to address the entire spectrum of care and needs of bariatric patients.
