Rex Bariatric Specialists has been designated as a comprehensive accredited center by the Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Accreditation and Quality Improvement Program (MBSAQIP). This national accreditation is awarded to institutions and surgeons that have passed stringent quality measures and demonstrated expertise in quality care. The designation is awarded in tandem to both the surgeon and the facility. MBSAQIP is a joint program of the American College of Surgeons and the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery.
Rex Bariatric Specialists is designated as a Practice of Excellence. Together, the integrated efforts and resources of our surgeons, the hospital facility, and our integrated bariatric practice provide lasting health benefits for our patients.
