I'm going to be going back to Dr Gitt at North Valley Plastic Surgery to have another procedure done,He and his team of Dr's. Nurses and Anesthesiologists are the absolute best in their fields. I have had friends that live in other states who are friends of mine through Obesity help, and they went for procedures to remove the excess skin,not ONE of them had the care that I had, and ALL of them paid a much higher price.The biggest thing to me is the aftercare, at times I was going back daily to have them help me, and they did...they ALWAYS made room for me,they always made me feel that it was fine, and I wasnt bothering them by calling them a million times with questions!:) The OR is right there in the same building, and its top notch, it relaxes you with soothing music, they will give you a heated blanket if you are cold, it has more of a Spa feel to it then a cold clinical feel...and when you wake up they are right there holding your hand and checking you out, your stats, keeping an eyes on you at all times, just so professional..Im blessed to have them in my life, thank you again for making me pretty, and Im coming back to info on lifelift!! One last note, I have NEVER had a bad experience with them, they have always called back and Dr Gitt even calls back too! I have never heard of anyone that didnt have glowing reviews of NVPS, you guys just do it right!! and I thank you for that:)

I would like to start off by saying this is a review of Dr. Gitt's staff.

I was only able to meet with Dr Gitt for a consultation. He appeared to be experienced in his field. Since then I have been trying to get an appointment for surgery (the works), but I can't. His staff is very odd. It's as though they do not want my business. Both my insurance and myself, have had to make numerous calls inquiring on the status of my appointment. Still no calls back. I would dearly love to speak with him to inform him of what we have been going through. On the other hand, perhaps this is a sign that I should go elsewhere. So I am doing just that.

He has lost out on good business, because of his Staff/Team :-(

Office is very helpful and respectful when i have gone in for visits or just had a question on the phone. Was able to speak with Dr. Gitt after hours when i had an issue.

I wish there was a higher rating than excellent!! My experience with Dr. Gitt and his entire staff, Michelle, Susan, Janna and the OR nurses EXCEEDED all of my expectations!! I am so thrilled with my results that I can't wait to slip into my new bathing suit this spring! My breasts are perky and pretty and my saggy tummy is now flat!! I worked so hard to lose 148 lbs and was left with saggy EVERYTHING!! Dr. Gitt listened to what I wanted and gave me results that were well BEYOND my imagination! Thank you Dr. Gitt. I refer everyone to you!

Dr. Gitt listened, but he did not hear. He made exaggerated clown breasts on me and dog ear flapped breasts when I had him reduce them. His hip-scoop and abdominalplasty left me extremely top heavy and searching for another plastic surgeon. Dr. Gitt did not seem to understand a petite female body. He also rejected all my efforts for less drugs and more natural methods of healing. Luckily I found Dr. Devito and now feel "right" in my body. Dr. Gitt is a plastic surgeon, but Dr. Devito is a body artist.

Dr. Gitt came highly recommended by my best friend who had her post baritric surgeries performed by Dr. Gitt. I went through the entire process with her so I had some idea of what to expect. I am a post bariatric patient. Over the course of 5 years I lost 165+ pounds. Remarkably, I had excess skin and flab bu my skin is not the typical "saggy"type after bariatric surgery. I am very physically fit, work out 3-5 times per week and for 3 years prior to surgery 3 times a week with a personal trainer. I truly believe this has so much to do with the outcome of surgery and how quickly recovery will be. My consultation with Dr. Gitt was humorous. He made me feel good about what he could do for me. He was professional, funny, very informative and extremely honest. I like the fact that he had Andrea come in the exam room so that I didn't feel that anything inappropriate was being done to me. I am only 2 1/2 weeks post op but I cannot tell you how fabulous I feel. I had a tummy tuck (standard), breast reduction and lift, a hernia repair that I was unaware of and lipo on my inner thighs. Yes there is pain and discomfort....thank you Vicodin! But not like I expected to have. The staff from the start was phenomenal. Michelle helped with my financing, Andrea brightened my days and always smiled to make me feel better and Janna and Susan (Nurses) were absolutely amazing. Dr. Gitt has given me a better body at 44 than I had at 24. Now I look like I feel! Post bariatric or not, Dr. Gitt is the surgeon you want to handle your surgery. He is so caring and it carries over to every single person at the surgery center. I love you Dr. Gitt! You are the best!

I researched and interviewed four doctors in the valley to perform corrective surgeries after losing 120 pounds and selected Dr. Gitt because he took the time to listen to me and to explain the procedures to me. He answered all my questions in detail and without being concerned about the amount of time he took to answer them and at the end he even gave me a discount for performing two procedures at the same time. The office staff is extremely personable, supportive and friendly. I love Dr. Gitt and his staff and would highly recommend him if you are considering any corrective surgeries after gastric bypass. Dr. Gitt has performed two of the four surgeries I plan to have and I wouldn't consider going to another plastic surgeon for my remaining surgeries. Thank you Dr. Gitt!

After having maintained the 115 lbs, that I lost due to WLS in 2006, I decided that it was time to get rid of the extra skin and put my breasts back up where they belonged. Following a referral from my physician I went for a consult with Dr. Gitt. Dr. Gitt was frinedly and informative and took the time to answer my questions...some of them twice. His humor is offbeat, but sometimes you need that when you are standing completely naked in front of a stranger. In January 2010 I had a combination of procedures that included a breast lift, tummy tuck, upper arm lift, thigh lipo and a belly button hernia fix. I felt like I was hit by a truck the next day! Without Dr. Gitt and his staff (and my sister) I would not have made it. They saw me as often as I needed and always took excellent care of me. I had a minor complication with my upper arms healing that brought me to tears one day..but Dr. Gitt saw me through it and promised that everything would heal up and look great. I have healed nicely and all the scars are fading! Everything looks great, I have a flat tummy, a new awesome belly button and my breasts are perky once again! I would recommend Dr. Gitt and his staff to anyone looking to have plastic surgery done. In fact I just scheduled what I hope will be my last surgery, a thigh lift and some slight revisions from the first surgery. All my thanks to Dr. Gitt.

Although Dr.Gitt seems to "know his stuff" when it comes to post weight loss plastic surgery, but he could definitely learn a thing or two about listening to the prospective patient. During my consult I felt barreled over. It seemed as though what he had to say was more important than the questions I wanted to ask. He talked more about himself then he took time asking questions about what I wanted out of the procedures I was inquiring about. He needs a lesson in sensitivity. During the exam I felt like a piece of meat on display. He made some inappropriate comments to my husband such as "can you believe I get paid for this" as he had his hand on my rear end. After my consult his staff was not upfront with me as I inquired about what board certified anesthesiology group he would be using for my 8 hour surgery. Days later after searching the group name the receptionist gave me to no avail, I called back and got the "anesthesiologist" name. Upon searching, I found that he was not an anesthesiologist at all but a nurse anesthetist. No anesthesiologist is present at the time of surgery. That was all I needed to hear to know the this was not the right choice for me. My overall experience was not good with Dr. Gitt and I did not and would not choose him to be my surgeon.

I listened to Dr. Gitt's seminar on plastice surgery in 8/08 and had a consultation that day. He told me to wait until I had lost more weight. I decided at that time that only he would do my surgery when I was ready. In Sept. 09 I had another consultation with him and my surgery was scheduled for 10/09. I am now almost 3 mos. post op. I had my stomach and a breast lift done. I couldn't be more thrilled with the way I feel and look. Dr. Gitt and his staff have made the past 4 months so much easier. Thank you. I highly recommend him and his entire staff. They were totally professional and very caring about my well being.
