Elisabeth Hanna Registered Nurse BSN, R.N.

Once authorization for bariatric/weight loss surgery has been obtained, the RN Case Manager is responsible for coordinating the schedule for surgery and all of the pieces that go along with that. This includes providing intensive inpatient case management while the patient is in the hospital for surgery.

Elisabeth Hanna joined Summa's Bariatric Care Cneter in 2012. She has worked at Summa since 1987 in a variety of positions, including gastroenterology, endoscopy and colorectal cancer. Ms. Hanna received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from The University of Akron in 1990. She is also certified as a gastroenterology nurse.
