Thanksgiving Leftover Turkey Salad RecipeNovember 25, 2022
As much as I love Thanksgiving day and all of the festivities, I have come to realize that the day after Thanksgiving isn’t so bad either. Of course, I love spending time with family and friends, so Thanksgiving day wins out. But I have to tell you, to me, the food always tastes even better the next day! And there are always plenty of leftovers to make this delicious Thanksgiving Leftover Turkey Salad Recipe!
I just love this recipe by best-selling cookbook author Holly Clegg and I cannot wait to try it. I love all of the ingredients to put this recipe together and what a delicious way to use leftover turkey and rice. This holiday recipe is shared from Holly’s Too Hot in the Kitchen cookbook. Now, our family has never included a wild rice dish on Thanksgiving day but this year, I am going to put it on the menu!
As #TeamHolly has shared, you can “spike the rice with vivid colors and flavors and toasty crunchy almonds for an undemanding and unforgettable salad. If you don’t have leftover turkey, rotisserie chicken can be used year round.”
