Failing once again....

Ok, I've been "dieting" for just about a month now and I am once again failing...I find myself messing up more and more. I'm not happy about this. I lost 17 pounds last month and have a feeling that I won't lose anymore. I want to lose another 10 pounds before surgery, I know that I could probably do it, but I am losing my motivation again. Please me to get motivated again! Kelley MARCH RULES

I was reading your profile after reading your post here. I'm not really responding to your post other than suggesting that you just try and relax some and let be what will be.... if you loose a little more before your date, great, if not.... don't stress over it. The important thing is that you will be well on your way to your goals very soon. For your husband, I feel it was good that his date was moved further away from yours. My wife and I were going to do ours at the same time, got all our approvals etc... and then at the last moments really thought about what we were doing and decided, there would be no way we could care for each other... if we were both in the same condition... I "let" her go first (hoping that I could have one last chance to do it on mh own)... now it is my turn. 3/1/04 is my date.

Kelley, Hunny, Buddy, Pal, Partner-In-Instigation... I have this on my bulletin board at work: "Courage doesn't always roar - sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying "I will try again tomorrow". It's gonna be alright, whether you lose 7, 17 or 27 pounds before surgery. Just give yourself a break and try again when you've re-grouped. I'm here for you... Kim MARCH RULES!

I agree with Kimmer all you can do is try .. If it helps you can laugh at me ... I started back at the gym yesterday (after about 2 months of inactivity) and overdid it on one of the arm machines

I intended to be sugar free this wee****il they set out a plate of chocolate chop cookies at work today. Ugh! I only ate one--not the whole plate, anyway! If we could do this on our own, we would not be having surgery. Eat some extra protein and call yourself "good"! Joy "Canary"

See...you scored a victory by eating only one cookie instead of snarfing down the whole plate! Take the victory lap! I thrive on small victories. The big ones just don't come that often. Kim March Rules!

I'm feeling a bit better today...I went to see my dietitian today and she was so happy about my weightloss. That right there just boosted me up! I am going to lose the 10 pounds that I want to before surgery! I can do it! I just gotta keep telling myself that! I don't have to see the dietitian till after surgery...So I really need to keep myself motivated. There is no one that I need to report to about my weight, so this may be a little harder. Anyway, Next weekend (Valentines Day) is my 6 year wedding Anniversary, and I'll tell you all right now, I am going to a fantastic Italian resturant and I am going to order Shrimp and Clams -a Napolitano and Clams Casino for appetizers and then have the Shrimp Exquisito for my Meal. mmmmm, I am going to enjoy every bite I take! I'm drooling just thinking about it... I will then get "back on the wagon" and make the right choices... Kelley 10 more lbs to lose MARCH RULES
