Good luck to you. I know how it is to have another surgery after RNY. I cried, why me, I just had a surgery. I had an intestional blockage just 9 days after my RNY. I wish you all the best.

I have an appt. to see a surgeon to get my gallbladder out.  I was in the ER with a gallbladder attack Sunday evening.  Worse pain ever.  I have lapband.  I, too, am not looking forward to another surgery.

Prior to my RNY, the ultrasound found about 1 doz stones. Bariatric Doc said they'd decide what to do about it while they were performing the Lap RNY,

Post surgery I was told the gall bladder remains since it wasn't inflamed during the RNY procedure. So I live with them until it becomes a problem, I guess.

I had my gallbladder removed prior to surgery, 3 weeks after giving birth to my daughter.  It was an easier surgery than my RNY, even though I had stone lodged in my biliary tract.  I had awful gallbladder attacks with mine, hurt horribly and I would throw up and be sick to my stomach the whole next day.  Glad yours aren't causing you any pain, they will probably jus****ch how they do for now if you aren't in any pain and your liver functions are normal.

the only pain i feel is when i eat, kinda right in the middle of my chest...my moms a nurse and said that could be  a little warning sign. [it doesnt happen all the time but sometimes after 2 bites im sooo full and feel like im going to throw up..i have but its sooo tolerable] im waiting for my doctor to call back to see if they're just going to watch them for now or if im going to have them taken out. now that im typing lol...ive had a little pain in my sides when i sit in class for awhile...thats probably just from the HARD uncomfy desks [that i can finally cross my legs under!!!]
