I am struggling a bit too.I have an issue with being hungry at bedtime. I feel like I need a detox.  I think first, I am cleaning my cupboard of all the crap.  My DH is putting on weight, mostly eating what I can't/don't/won't.  We have no kids at home, and I think what I eat is good for both of us.  I will do the 5 day pouch test, probably on Monday, after the Superbowl  :)   Not that I plan on pigging out, I just think that would be best for me. I have not regained anything, I keep it within a couple pounds of where I am now.

I've been struggling too, with the same issues.  I know I've been going mushy on the rules.  I've been eating more processed foods, drinking soda, and not working out.  I've been super busy, but I know I should still make time for it.  I've been reading about Clean Eating, and I'm trying to transition over into eating like that.  I think the important thing is not to panic. Four or five pounds is not too  much to overcome. We've come this far, we can keep going!

cant seem to get control of my eating. Wondering if anyone else is too. I'm starting to go up and down in my weight. I've gained five pounds since the holidays and seems like my stomache can hold so much food now. I never lost all the weight I hoped to lose it's very scary I feel like I did when I weighd 277 lbs.

I can't tell you how happy I am to read this post.  I had my surgery 4/20/09 and I have been hanging around the same weight since February 2010.  My body doesn't seem to want to go under 180 lbs - truth be told though I haven't been pushing the excersice issue much.

I am trying to regain control ... I feel like I went thru hell and high water after my surgery (I was in the hospital for almost 2 months post-op) and I am not happy stuck at 180.  It is really nice to know that I am not the only one!

I had surgery on 4/20/09 and haven't really lost anything in well over a year. I don't dump and like the original poster, I can eat anything I want in small portions.

I was wondering if you guys started losing again and what it took to start losing? I am the same way. For the last few months I have been up and down in weight with the same 5/6lbs. I have not lost much. I am stuck at 160. I am a size 8 but I really wanted to lose about another 20lbs because I am 5'2, so i am still considered overweight. I snack every now and then, I do get hungry between meals, but I snack on 100 calorie snacks or healthy foods. I still only eat about 800 calories a day and I cannot seem to increase it from there. I get food stuck sometimes, and I do get full easily, but I eat more frequently. I would love to start losing more weight... I don't want to be stuck at 160!

When was your surgery? 4/1/2009
What type of surgery did you have? Roux-en-Y
Did you have any complications? None

What have your results been? While I'm anxious about reaching my goal weight I have to be thankful for my overall results.  No sugical complications, none of the extreme side-effects some mention (hair loss, dumping, etc).

What was the most difficult?  Havilng to learn which foods were 'good' for my pouch.

What was the easiest? The water intake.

What are you happiest with?  Being able to move!

What are you unhappy about? These last stubborn 22 pounds.  The last month or so I've almost stopped losing...since Christmas was averaging around 2lbs a week.  Now it's around 1/2lb a week.

What are some of you size stats?
-Clothes 26/28 to 14
-Shoes 9 to 81/2
-Rings 8 to 6
-Other

What was your highest weight:  302
What was your weight at time of surgery:  Didn't weigh in that day but probably still the 302
What is your current weight:  172
What is your goal weight:
150

When was your surgery? - April 24, 2009
What type of surgery did you have? The VSG
Did you have any complications? No real complications, no

What have your results been? I'd say they were successful. I'll know more by the end of the year, after baby comes and hopefully when I cam able to lose more weight.

What was the most difficult? Learning to eat more slowly as well as learning that my eyes are really bigger than my stomach now.

What was the easiest? Actually sticking to the eating plan. When I see results daily or weekly I am much more capable of staying on track.

What are you happiest with? So far I am happiest with the amount of weight I've lost. aounr 130 pounds.

What are you unhappy about? The excess and saggy skin everywhere and I am not even done losing weight. :(

What are some of you size stats? Pre-Surgery/Current
-Clothes 28/30 - 14/16
-Shoes 8½/9 - 7
-Rings 9 - 7

What was your highest weight: 326
What was your weight at time of surgery: 306.6
What is your current weight: 203 -Note I am 28 wks pregnant. Lowest weight reached was 195, before pregnancy weight started coming on.
What is your goal weight:
150
