Hi All, So I haven't lost weight in almost 2 months. I am stuck at 160. I hit 159 for like 2 days and thats it. I have gone down a size in pants but thats it. I am exercising and watching what I eat. I am eatig about 4-6 oz 4-5 times a day. I am getting about 1000 calories in, plus water and protien. Anyone else stuck? I know there is a platue buster diet... should I try that? Enough about me... How is everyone else doing? Starting: 275 Day Of:265 Today:160 Goal 140

Just a little word of encouragement...no longer is it quantity, rather quality of weight we are losing. Try the plateau buster, I did and it worked. Every pound we lose now counts for a lot because the bulk is gone...forever...Also, make sure you are exercising, exercising, exercising....mix it up, this will "trick" your body back into weight loss mode also. Remeber that strength exercises increase your metabolism. Hope this helps!

I haven't stalled per say, but it sure is slower coming off. I'm not worried about it though. As long as it's not going back up that is what counts.

Becky...Thank you so much for the Plateau Buster Diet information. I will definately give it a try. I am about 15 lbs from goal. But....the plastic surgeon said not to loose anymore. I am not sure if I want to do the plastic surgery. A BIG decision. For one...the cost...and also the recoup time. I guess I have to think about it some more. Thanks again. Dale

This may sound crazy but I'm at 163 and delighted as all get-out. I'm exercising, getting in my water and protein and wearing a size 6. To be honest, if I never lose another pound it's well worth it and as long as I'm feeling good I am going to welcome whatever other pounds come off and just make sure none creep back on. At this point it feels like most of what's left is hanging skin...I can feel the muscle and bone underneath it but I know I'm quite a ways from thinking about PS. I'll see what the doc says next month; He set my goal at 155 then so to be within eight pounds of it isn't too bad. I still have moderate lymphaedema in my lower legs and I think that's also accounting for the extra weight. I wonder though...am I being too complacent?? I guess the doc will scold me if I am... Starting: 308 Surgery: 295 Today: 163 Goal: 155

Hi Michelle Sorry about your stall Actually I haven't stayed the same weight for longer than 2 weeks since the first stall I had in months 1 & 2. If my weight doesnt change in a week I just eat more protein, calories and up my water and sure enough I will start losing weight immediately. Now that Im at a point I dont want to increas my calories any more I do cyclical calorie changes of eating 800, 1000, or 1200 calories a day for 2 - 5 days before switching it again. Hope you get to losing soon Its not over just sloooowing down for those last few pounds BIG HUGS T
