OK, guys!!  We are now 9 months from surgery.  How is everyone doing?  Here are my stats by month:

Month 1 (9/2-10/2) 30 pounds
Month 2 (10/2-11/2) 18 pounds
Month 3 (11/2-12/2) 18 pounds
Month 4 (12/2-1/2) 14 pounds
Month 5 (1/2-2/2) 12 pounds
Month 6 (2/2-3/2) 9 pounds
Month 7 (3/2-4/2) 12 pounds
Month 8 (4/2-5/2) 9 pounds
Month 9 (5/2-6/2) 10 pounds

September 2nd I started my liquid pre-op diet and weighed 311.  9 months later, I now weigh 179 (a loss of 132 pounds).  I hope to lose another 20 pounds and get to a "normal" BMI (under 25).

I won't be 9 months out for another 2.5 weeks. But I'm pretty much at goal at this point and trying to figure out how to switch to maintenance mode or whether I should just see what happens and how low I can go...

Happy for everyone and wish I could lose as fast.  Not sure if  my rate of weight loss ioss is due to my age (58) or because I delayed serious exercise for 5 months.  Please tell me you are all under 58.  Here are my stats.

9/18     350

9 months already? Really, it's been that long? My how time flies when you're having fun.

I don't know how much I lost each month, but the morning of surgery 9/29/08 I was 371. As of Monday 6/15/09 I weighed 215, and I am no longer considered obese, just overweight.
