Can't keep anything down

I am posting for my wife, Verna. We have finally arrived home from the hospital and her Gastric Bypass surgery. It is 9/25/09 and we have been home les than 24 hours. She is still unable to keep almost any liquids down. We are concerned with her getting dehydrated and malnourished. Regular water even comes back up. We did get 1 oz OptiSource (caramel yuck) to stay down yesterday evening.  Ounce #2 about 30 minutes later stomach was not happy with.


Advice?  Help?

I hope that she is doing better by now. But if not it sounds like you really need to contact her surgeon if you haven't already. I haven't had my surgery yet, but I know that not being able to keep water down at all is not normal.
