I am Oct 5/09.  It has been slow going for me.  I lost 30lbs. in the first month and then stalled for the whole second month.  I have now just started losing again, down 4 more pounds but wish I didn't waste so much time.  Still wearing the same clothes....

I think that maybe I was eating too little.  I was consuming about 400-600 calories a day....just not able to eat much more.  I have now upped my calorie intake.  Hopefully, I will start losing again.

Anyone else?

October 8 for me

down 58 pounds but that counts the 17 I lost on the liquid diet before surgery

I find that I don't really lose if I don't exercise so I've been going to the Y every single day possible to do Zumba, walk etc...  I really enjoyed water aerobics except now I'm so cold all the time I haven't been going to class for fear of freezing to death.

I am Oct. 09.  I have lost a total of 79 pounds from my highest weight and 52 pounds since the surgery.  I want to lose more but I can't drink any of the protein shakes because they make me really sick.  I must keep trying to find a protein shake I can take.

I had my surgery on Oct 5th with a starting weight of 337lbs and I'm currently down to 199lbs so I've lost 138lbs in 8 1/2 months. I wish I was down more but if it wasn't for this surgery I wouldn't be where I'm at now. My goal is to be at 150lbs by Oct. 5, 2010. Wish my luck with that.

BTW for those you that struggle with protein shakes I suggest light chocolate muscle milk. I'm not a fan of protein powders but this I can tolerate. It has 160 calories with 20 grams of protein. You can find them in cases at Costco for about $27.00.
