Surgery on Monday, but bloodwork...

I'm scheduled for my RNY on Monday, but my WBC is "elevated" according to my primary.  Had to repeat it yesterday.  Am finishing up a round of antibiotics for a possible sinus infection.  First blood draw was last Friday and that is where the "elevated" WBC was found. 

Anyone think that my WBC will be not "elevated" on this draw with being on antibiotics for this long? 

If it's not OK, I'll get cancelled. :(  That would not be good as my insurance to cover the surgery ends on 10/31.  That's a LONG story in and of itself....

Anyway, thanks for any ideas!  :)

I hope your blood work shows better results.  If you've finished the antibiotics I dont see why it wouldn't be down.    Call and talk to the person who takes care of the insurance end of things in the office where you are seen and see if they can pull any strings for you....if its the right person they can work the insurance issue out for you.
