9 months!

Had my 9 month check today and everything is going great except I haven't lost any weight since my 6 month visit.  NOT A SINGLE OUNCE!!!    All they could suggest is more protein, more water and more exercise and to cut my carb intake even though I only eat tiny amounts of whole grains.  They don't know why I'm not losing weight either but said they might want to contribute to my new book:  ALIEN PHYSIOLOGY FOR DUMMIES.  Most of my doctors want to write a chapter or two since my body always defies all the rules.

Sorry you are having such a frustrating stall.  I wish I had words of wisdom for you.  Did they do labwork, to see if there's anything askew in your blood?

Lab work is perfect.  200% better than before my surgery.  I just wish I wasn't so hungry all the time!

Sorry to hear you are having trouble. Maybe more calories? I don't know what your doctor's plan is for you, but I've read about people needing to up there calories. I don't know how true that is though. My dr doesn't go by calories. Good luck, I hope it starts moving along for you.

Mine doesn't go by calories either, but he definitely thinks I need less calories, not more.  I'm just hungry all the time though.

Wow - 3 months without losing an ounce !  That's a LOO-oo-ng time !  I feel for you.
Maybe your body was not meant to be less than 177 lb.   Maybe that's healthy and normal for you.
Sorry to hear that you are hungry all the time, though.  At least you have not gained.  Keep up the good work.  We are rooting for you !

Make that 10 months.    Considering I weighed no more than 125 lb my entire adult life until I got sick 12 years ago, 177 lb for me is not acceptable.  Plus my body has adjusted to the 60 lb weight loss and is treating me like I'm fat again.  The marvelous energy I had earlier this year has vanished and my joints are all aching again!
