NEED HELP

Does anyone know the waiting time for a person with a bmi greater than 55 :-o

I really don't know. You could call a few Drs offices and find out. I would imagine it would be the same as everyone else 1-4 years. I figure get your referals in as soon as you can and they'll let you know. Paula

I believe the wait time is the same for everyone, regardless of BMI or co-morbidities. We are so back logged in Western Canada, and need more bariatric doctors. The list is so long and unreasonable. Some doctors are very specific on BMI, and won't do surgery on you if its too high, so check this out with the doctor you wish to see...no point in waiting on a list when the doc won't do the procedure on you.
