I was wondering if anyone knows if there are any doctors that do the lap band surgery in the Grande Prairie area???

Hi Stacie I think the only Doctors I know who do biatric surgeries are in Edmonton, Red Deer, Calgary and Medicine Hat.

Hi there. I have 2 friends that live in GP that went to Mississauga and had the lap-band done. They paid for it themselves but they didn't have to jump through any hoops. I too had the lap-band done there and I have no regrets. I could have gone to Alberta and got it covered but the wait list was 2-3 years. Sorry, couldn't wait that long.
