Edmonton Bariatric Peer Support Group
Hi All!
For those of you who are interested, there is a peer support group that meet monthly in Edmonton in the Jean Hamilton Room at the Royal Alex Hospital in the Community Services Building. This is the same building as the Weight Wise clinic is located.
We have setup our meeting schedule for 2012 and you can find it at the EBSG Yahoo group site, which is http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/EdmontonBSG/. Most meetings will occur on a Monday night starting at 5:30pm and will run until 8pm at the latest.
At the meetings, we talk about issues that are relevant to all pre/post operative bariatric surgery patients. Along with social functions and clothing exchanges, we provide a safe, understanding environment to talk about all issues. All are welcome!
