Hernia

Today I has an endoscopy and found I have A Hiatal Hernia I'm wondering if it will affect me having gastric bypass. If anyone had a hernia could you let me know if it was a problem for you.

I guess it depends on how big your hernia is.  I have a small one and was able to get my sleeve no problem.  They ruled out the band (which I wasn't even considering anyway) because of my hernia, but said I could get a bypass no problem.

If yours is quite large, they may be able to fix it while they are in there. and then give you your bypass.
