So I had my follow up appointment with the dietician today, she's really happy with everything I'm doing and my progress and has signed off on her approval for my surgery. Apparently I won't see her again until I'm on the flip side.

I asked what was left to come, I've already got a surgery info class in a couple of weeks, and a week later I have a quick appointment with my Nurse (apparently this can be a phone call appointment) who will make an appointment to see the surgeon and arrange for any tests they might deem necessary. After the surgeon's consultation I have to attend a surgery prep class, and then I just wait.

Apparenty it could be as little as a month or as much as a year after the prep class. I feel I can see the end in sight!

I have to see the dietician and nurse every 6-8 weeks. I was told that I have to see them until surgery..... they are awesome! So I really don't mind making the trip... but as they pointed out last time I am 5 months out from surgery, time is going to go quick! Just cause it seems like it's been forever that I have been waiting... but it reality it hasn't really been a long process. ???

Yes, it seems long until you're attending appointments and classes and then all of the sudden you get the call and it's like, "What? Already?!"

5 months will go by fast.
