I live in Mobile but am using Dr. Jeffery Lord of Sacred Heart Surgical Weight Loss Center in Pensacola. In my research he has an amazing record and approval. I will be having my surgery in August and have just about completed pre-surgery requirements and have found Dr. Lord's staff to be exceptional! This Tuesday they have their monthly support group at the hospital that you may be interested in attending.
I am also needing help finding a surgeon near me that takes Medicaid. Please help me! Thank you
I am not sure you need an attorney. I would try on my own to be approved first, then get an attorney if there is an appeal. First step, see a surgeon who does revisions for advice. Good Luck.

Dr. Turton in LaGrange Georgia takes Medicare I know...that is about two hours from you. I am not sure if he accepts Medicaid.

I'm needing help also. I got a referral last year. Two weeks before all my paperwork was done the surgeon's office stopped accepting Medicaid. Did you find a surgeon? Can someone send me some information? Thanks in advance
