Need Dr in Tucson Az

Hi my name is Cindy, I live in Tucson AZ. I had RNY in Sept 2007. I moved here from another state. I would like to see if anyone could help me with any info in finding a Dr that will take a new Patient that has had RNY. I also need to find a support group. I am starting to gain my weight back. I need to get back on track.so if anyone could help please reply back.

Sorry, I know of a few in Phoenix but not Tucson. If you can't find one you like in Tucson let me know.

Call Dr. Podkameni's office.  He's in Gilbert but does take other RNY patients other than his own.

Dr. Monash is the only one in Tucson who with take other Dr.'s patients.  Try his website for more information.

Did you mean a PCP or a bariatric surgeon? There are many WLS friendly PCP's in Tucson, and several bariatric surgeons, but I don't know if any offer revisions. Some in Phoenix do though. Good luck! Hope you get some better answers, but don't be shy in offering more info! Good luck!

 I know Dr Monash will take other dr's patients.  Dr.'s Burpee and Chiasson will on a case to case basis (though I only know of myself and one other person that they have taken).  There is the TUSWLS support group; it has two meetings a month one at northwest and one at a church on the east side.  The first monday of the month at northwest hospital and the second tues at the church.
