Richmond and waiting.

Hi all,

My name is Lisa.  I just joined, and have loved reading about everyone's experiences.   I have had a referral in at the Richmond Metobolic and Bariatric surgery centre for 13 months now.  I am hoping to learn from all of you so I can make the best educated decision when I get that call to come and meet the doctor.  

From what I heard it should be soon for the referral call in? You have waited 13 months. Have you called for an update on their schedule?

Personally, I decided to give up after about a year waiting for the first consult meeting. Went pay as you go in Ontario. Time was more precious than money to me?
